Graphite parts

Graphite is used in a range of applications on which high demands concerning temperature or mechanical strength are placed.

The material is manufactured either by way of extruding or by isostatic pressing. The ISO qualities are the most expensive, with the finest surface and highest mechanical strength. The extruded qualities have a higher porosity and as such are most suited when there are heavy thermal influences, e.g. when producing glass.

The graphite can also be impregnated with different materials in order to increase strength or resistance to corrosion.
